| The numbers to beat from 2008: $47,794.40 & 1,395 lbs. of food This is our 7th annual food drive in collaboration with Second Harvest Food Bank. We will have food collection barrels out from 11/24 through the first of the year. Monetary donations up to $500 each will be matched by The Severns Family Foundation. NEW RECORD! Final 2009 Grand Total: $54,729.68 and 1,753 lbs. of food Opening Night: $17,258.00 - 500 lbs Week 1: $2,820.50 - 100 lbs Week 2: $4,796.54 - 200 lbs Week 3: $10,064.86 - 200 lbs Week 4: $8,545.90 - 300 lbs Week 5: $5,245.48 - 100 lbs Week 6: $5998.40 - 353 lbs We have surpassed $216,000 (over half a million lbs) in total donations since our first year in 2003! See Chart Donate Online @ Second Harvest - see instructions below All online donations are matched (up to $500) Second Harvest has created a "Virtual Food Drive" where you can shop for and purchase food on their website. Since they buy in bulk and know what foods they need, this is the best way to stretch your donation dollar. You can also just donate a specific amount of money and not choose any specific foods. To make sure that our Food Drive gets credit, please do the following: Select "Community Group" under Organization Type Select "Severns-Pease Christmas Display" under Organization Name.
